Bedford JH Wrestling Tournament

Any results for the Bedford County Teams? Forest Hills? I'm sure there were good matches yesterday.

Bedford got 5th place with like 150 points. Northern Bedford got fourth with like 160 points. Central Cambria got 3rd with like 170 points. Chestnut Ridge got second with like 230 points. Huntington got 1st with like 255 points.

Forest Hills was 6th place if I remember correctly. Their team wasn't anywhere near the jr high team they have fielded the last 2 years. Huntingdon team was quite impressive at the middle and middle/upper weights. A small suggestion that I might offer for this tournament- I know it is too early in the year to seed the wrestlers participating because it is so early. With that in mind, why not have a wrestle back for true second? Every year you see what ends up being the championship match wrestled in the semi-finals. It is a team tournament with trophies given to the top three teams. A couple points here and there for second places versus third places "could" mean the difference in the final standings. Overall the tournament was run very well as always. Just my .02.....
