I guess CC is still trying to find their "groove" after winning in Sidman by 1. One of the Ranger Dads told me he was standing beside the CC team prior to the start of the game, and Coach Traino was giving his pre-game pep talk. He was saying stuff like "Come out and be agressive from the tip, take it to 'em, etc., (and this part really got me) "If you have to pound them by fifty, pound them by fifty"! The only problem I saw with that statement was, they couldn't EVEN SCORE FIFTY, let alone beat their opponent by that amount. Good pep talk. Or were the Rangers better than most give them credit for. At least on this night.

To think that FH could play probably one of their best games of the year and CC play definitely their worst, and CC still wins is a testament to the gap in between these two. It's hard winning LHAC games on the road (for the most part), especially against rivals. Is Luke G the point guard? If so i heard hes a frosh and yes he did play pretty well against Miller. Skoner showed me absolutely nothing and I thought Kirby would be better as well. Either way, I'll tell you now CC will beat them by 25+ when they play in ebensburg.

Yup. Luke Gallaher runs the point in Sidman.

I wouldn't say they are weak. They are just very undersized. They got Donoughe back from a broken finger and he really is the energy to that team. They should be shooting from outside better with the four guard, one forward look, but they should sneak up on a few teams this year.

Yeah, they're 1-5 after losing to Somerset tonight. But look who they played. Lead off with a loss to Westmont; went to Conemaugh Valley and got a win. After that, they traveled to McCort and got stomped from the inside and outside. Then they went to Guilfoyle and lost by seven in, from what I've heard, a really close game, but fouls at the end made the score untrue to the actual game. The Rangers came back to Sidman and lost to CC by a point. They lost by 20-30 I think to Somerset tonight.

So, Westmont, Valley, McCort, Guilfoyle, Central Cambria, and Somerset to start the season. That's rough no matter what name is on your jersey.
