dont get me wrong im a huge supporter of this program ive gone to MSG to watch the Big East 3 years ive been to the NCAA's twice and go to countless games at the Pete!!!!and its incredible where it is compared to 99!!!Im just not a big Jamie Dixon fan thats all...I knew many Steeler fans that didnt like Cower but they respected him and thats just how i am with Dixon
Was down at the Pete last night....rough start but once everyone felt each other out things looked good very impressive offense game getting scoring from the main 7 rotation but 70 some point for Lafayette they gotta get back to work
Villanova sunday....I think they said it was at the Pavillion and not the downtown arena Pitt has been known to have problems at the oncampus place.....what are you guys thinking?
Pitt 76 Nova 69

Re: Pitt Over Duke
If LaVance (Great name btw) returns by mid to late Feb. this team may be better in the long run.....they need more production than they were getting from Biggs, Benjamin & R. Ramon.....these gents will be forced to play more & don't forget G Brown is in 1st year of playing (& his time will increase) & B Wannamaker has been battling a nagging injury....I like what some insiders have told me of his toughness & all around skills....hope to see more of him in coming games!
Bottom line - one can make excuses & say we're injured etc....or some of these young men (and upperclassmen) may step up & take advantage of PT opportunities!!! I think Jamie handles young men well & motivates to fullest potential.....I firmly believe Pitt may be better off come MSG & NCAA torney time!!!

I have to say thank you to me ..." for not being stupid enough to go to Penn State."
