Terrelle Pryor is supposedly going to Penn State for the weekend. Then I see he's at Florida. Then he's talking about how great of a time he had this weekend in Ann Arbor!!!! I mean seriously, how fast of a 40 do you need to run to be in those places at once?

Don't be shocked when he puts on the Pitt hat on LOI Day. Here are some reasons.

1. One thing Pitt has done better than anybody is continue to recruit him for both football and basketball. Other schools have promised to allow him to play basketball, but Pitt has made him feel wanted as a basketball player as well.

2. Keep in mind, he has only ever verbally committed to one school and one sport. That was Pitt basketball.

3. Two of his very good friends are DeJuan Blair and Shady McCoy.

4. He wants his dad, who is confined to a wheelchair, to be able to watch him play. Pittsburgh is only 30-40 minute ride from Jeannette.

5. When the Pitt staff went to the University of Arkansas last summer to study the "Wildcat" offense, were they showing a commitment to change their offense for TP?

6. TP says he wants to play in a system that will prepare him for the NFL. The spread won't prepare him for the NFL. Ohio State's Offense would. However, as much scrutiny as Matt Cavanaugh receives at times, he has coached in the NFL.

Pitt might still be a real long shot at landing TP, but I here are at least six reasons why I wouldn't be shocked if he did become a Panther.

It would be huge if Pitt landed him, but I think most smart people are hip to exactly how Cavanaugh performed in the NFL. That Ravens offense is STILL terrible. They won that Super Bowl because that was the worst NFL season any of us can even remember.

Ohio State has become an NFL factory, and pretty much so is Michigan. I think it says alot that Mallett instantly fled the scene, and Pryor added Michigan to his list which coincidentally dropping West Virginia from it. If he really likes Rich Rod, he's the starting QB 7 months from now for what is possibly the most prestigious program in the whole league.

But then again, look at Florida. He'd fit there, too.

At any of the schools we are discussing, he's definitely attracted by the basketball aspect as well.

What about the basketball aspect would attract him to Michigan? They have been terrible for years and are not showing signs of improvement this season. Beilein was not a great recruiter at WVU and now he has to go against Izzo at MSU, Ryan at Wisky as well as Indiana, Purdue, OSU, and Notre Dame. I think if he really wants to play basketball, Michigan has to be out. Keep in mind. He will only be able to play about half of the basketball season so he needs to go to a place that will be good, where he can step in and elevate them.

This is getting off topic a bit, but Beilein was pretty successful at WVU. He had to recruit against some top programs in the Big East as well. The thing about Beilein is that he recruits to fit his system. He will battle for the same recruits that others in the conference do.
