So far we got Billy Cowher, Dave Wannstedt, Vince Lombardi & Professor Wagstaff (of Huxley University infamy).......

No one listened to Vman when he endorsed B. Basile a few yrs. ago....would have been great fit...doubt if still interested!

Just a curiousity....does WH have an admin. opening??

vman,

I understand that there may be an administrative opening in the middle school. Does that work in Westy's favor as far as making it more attractive for prospective coaches. Does that make Ken Salem take a look? How about Ralph DeMarco from Windber? I haven't heard any names that have been submitted yet.

Although you are usually knowledgeable about such things, I have to say that I dont believe there will be an opening in Middle School Administration next year. If you know something I dont, let us all in on it.

Westmont, in recent years, has "discouraged" Administrators from being Head Coaches on the Varsity level. Ken Salem would be an excellent choice for the position. If the other mentioned is chosen they better put security in the parking lot.

Westmont claims they won't even give Coaches preference when hiring teachers, I doubt they would give a position to an administrator even if the position were to open.
And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!

I take back my last statement. I hear there may be a opening in administration. Not at the MS though.
I do agree with Opinionguy.

Rumor has it Ralph Demarco has placed an application. He previously tried to land the job, but Westmont chose to stay in house with McClaran.
