Does Anyone have an Explanation?
Okay, I am looking for info here. I know Moldo knows some stuff about this. How many scholarships is a team allowed to offer? How many visits are kids allowed to take?
Here's what I don't understand. You have Evan Royster, very young and very injury prone. He's gonna be just as good as Kinlaw, maybe even better. Behind him on the depth chart, what do you have? Carter? The kids weighs like 170. They already switched Beachem's recruiting from RB to LB. Shaw is coming in as a RB. So, basically, there is zero RB depth at Penn State, right?
They continue chasing these ghosts. I can't find the dang offer board again. But on Scout, the following RBs have OFFERS IN HAND from Penn State:
4-star players:
----------------------
Torrey Mack
Dontavius Jackson
Mike Cox
All three of those kids are already firm commits to other programs. In addition to that, I swear Darrell Scott and Cyrus Gray have PSU offers. There is no possibility of landing either of them.
I don't understand why they cannot pull the offer away, at this point in the recruiting season. Take that offer away from those kids and give them to other people!
That JUCO kid from Lackawanna (Bloi-Dei Dorzan) basically came out and said "If you offer me, I'm coming to Penn State". Still, even without the offer, he still has PSU listed as the only school he has "high interest" in! Look, you need RB depth. It doesn't matter if the kid isn't Jim Brown. He's a 3-star RB with severe interest in your program. I just don't get it!
And figure this one out. Somehow, 1-star DT Brandon Ware is the only kid up there this weekend? How is this possible, with LOI Day in less than 2 weeks? He has made it very clear that he wants to go to Penn State, and is looking for an offer.
Can anyone shed some light on any of this madness?
