Re: New PIAA Classifications
Ridge is gonna be A next year? I thought that they would have stayed AA, and some other teams would have been kicked down.

Re: New PIAA Classifications
Ridge has a big class of boys leaving and i guess some small ones coming up...Forbes road started a coop with tussey so i think that puts them in AA now and ridge is going to be A
Re: New PIAA Classifications
Forbes Road stays as A for the next two years. Bedford and Windber are the only two AA schools in D-5 now. From looking at the PIAA website, Indian Valley has the most boys in AA in D5-D6 with 421 next year. Ridge has 218, so I guess it will be good to be A for the next two years( I still liked playing in the AA playoffs).
Re: New PIAA Classifications
Yeah, no offense to single A schools, but AA has better soccer teams, i feel that sinlge A has more teams that are average, but i feel that AA has the teams that are MORE above average than sinlge A. I hope this makes sense.

Re: New PIAA Classifications
well sparky...take a look at the AA teams in D-5 Bedford, Windber, and Ridge (last year anyways)... all three are very solid teams. A has good teams too, but bad ones as well. That's just the way it goes. Unless you're a private school, statistics will tell you that you'll have a better team at a larger school than at a smaller one.

count2infity, thats very true, more students a better talent pool. That's why you know its a good team when a single a team beats a triple a school, like us and altoona
. But in all honesty, i like the new piaa classifications i really wannt play chestnut ridge, and we've always played winber so yeah.
