Next year will be a down year for LHAC quarterbacks, at least in terms of kids already being established. With Kauffman, Pecora, Defrances, McGregor, and Schrift graduating, some big shoes will need to be filled at some of the upper echelon conference programs. Glessner and the kid from BG should be legitimate next year, but beyond that there are unknowns across the board. QB battles will take place at McCort with Schrey and a few others, as well as at CC between Ben Ridgeley and Jeff Wasilewski. Don't be suprised to see a rematch of CC-McCort in next years D6 title game.

Why? Is McCort taking the moral high road again?

I think they told John Franco and the Tyrone fans that knocking them out of the playoffs 2 yrs in a row wasnt nice, let them and FH play for the AA championship....

Which btw...the past 7 years have seen BM, FH, or Tyrone play for the Championship....maybe an end to that in '08?

Fun Fact: BM has almost as many district championships in the past 7 yrs (3) as tyrone and Fh put together (4) :P

yeah, McCort has 3 in the past 7 years, but how many times has Wimington embarrassed them in the first round of the state playoffs?? I know the last two for sure, maybe even all 3 years after McCort won d6. Playing in the d6 championship, regardless if you win or not is an accomplishment in itself, but McCort has struggled in inter-district play in the playoffs, to say the least.

hardly? more like not at all...

Last year (06-07) should have been a victory, still dont know how you throw a holding penalty after a kid makes a 30 yard TD run. BM also got backed up deep in their own territory b/c the 40+ mph winds. (Yes i know both teams played in that wind). Half of BMs offense, the passing attack(which opens up the run), was halted due to the winds. Wilmington's O ran the ball almost every play all year(so no, the weather would not be a factor for their 'O'. Burns had one long skamper and theres no way a hole that size opens up without any flags...

They should have advanced to play Jeanette this year as well. Several possessions in Wilmington territory ended up in a few turnovers. Containing Chris Burns the entire first half while lowry took some hard shots and kept on ticking (takes a tole eventually). Its a shame they didnt win but all the credit in the world to Wilmington.

Now tell me how they were embarrassed again?

Btw BW23...2001 BM squad was good enough to win the state championship...They ran into a Washington Prixes team that featured several legit D1 athelets including a RB that played for ND...and two linemen that started for WVU...the final may have been 42-21 but two blocked punts b4 half for tds doesnt help...

Funny how McCort loses and again there are excuses and saying 'they should've won' They didn't. They got beat by a better team
