My numbers were for A and AA boys and girls only(small school classifications)for the past 15 years in basketball. The numbers are closer to 3 to 1 than 2 to 1.Check the PIAA website .By final 4 these were the 4 A and 4AA boys and girls teams in the finals.

It is a catholic issue when you have the N C fans mocking catholic school uniforms and waving bibles as they did at the D-6 game. That was disgusting.

i wouldn't be too upset about the things your mentioning. ive seen student sections do a lot worse. its a students section; what do you expect?
having said that, i do think that student sections that verbally attack and make derogatory chants against actual players have gone way over the top. disgusting.
but more on the topic: Congrats NC! You played your hearts out all year and should be proud.
and on the other topic: everyone knows that the private schools win at a disproportionate rate in football, basketball, and girls volleyball (with the more disproportionate rates occurring in the smaller classifications for obvious reasons). The fact that (1) public and private schools are vastly different in the ways that they acquire students combined with (2) the disproportionate rate of success for the privates provides enough of a rationale to separate the two types of schools. At least for me. It's not rocket science! but to some it is!
