If I could get the peach gummy rings at a WH football game instead of having to walk to the corner store, I would consider going....but only when they played McCort

If you look in today's Classifided section of the Tribune-Democrat, you will see a Westmont job opening for Varsity Football Coach. Will Westmont ever solve this problem?

It is down right embarassing. What a circus that place has become.
They should just give DeMarco the Principal and Head Coach positions. Their problems would be solved.
The PIAA is going to have to re-count the enrollments at Westmont and McCort this fall. Ken Salem better have enough room for the influx of Westmont kids.

If I was one of the parents who is keeping their nose clean and is not one of the radicals that are ruining everything, I would be talking to the papers and demanding that the school board get their act together. They had a second choice candidate, give whoever that was the job. That who district is a shambles, they have an increasingly outdated school with no plans to improve things. They pay the highest taxes in the area and have nothing to show for it. If I was in the district, I would NEVER vote for any of the current board members again!

I agree Trav.
If I were Roman, I wouldn't hesitate if given the opportunity. Westmont doesn't seem to support their coaches or care a whole lot about their athletic program. I am surprised he stayed this long.

I think the only reason Roman has stayed is because of the kids in the program.
Re: Todd Sheehan New Westmont Football Coach
What will happen when he doesn't have the OMOS and CCA kids because they rather play football and basketball at BM instead of being part of the coaching carousel at WH? Duplicating the 2007 team will be just that much more difficult. Thanks for nothing, WH School Board and Administration..and PARENTS!!

Jason Bourne has a point
Everyone criticizes the Westmont players for being selfish when it came to McLaurin. He was a great coach they just had a bad season so they're looking for a scapegoat. The Westmont boys basketball team was 14-12 this year. I haven't heard one complaint when it comes to coaching. The fact of the matter is, Roman is a great coach and everyone knows it, so the kids don't place blame where blame isn't due.
