Re: 08 COACHING
With or w/o Holsinger, I heard CC is tweaking the offense a bit. They don't have 6'6" 6'5" 6'2" 6'2" 5'11" anymore (with 6'9" playing when not injured). Theyll all run around 6'1" or 6'2", but most importantly they got that 5'11" point guard back. It'll be his team without a doubt. Tim Myers--remember the name. Been stuck behind Gowen for the past 2 years, so he hasn't played much. But he can look impressive at times.
If Holsinger plays the whole season, I will guarantee a D-6 chip right now. A weaker than usual BM team (schrey and thats it basically) might pose a small threat, but doubtful. Jtown's in AAA, along with Tyrone and Central now too. Even if BH doesnt play, I wouldn't be surprised if they play for D6 anyway.

They are in the same class next year. (AA)
Re: 08 COACHING
yes but if u take tim myers 3 ball away he is a very week player .also there are a few good freshman coming up from cc that are very athletic .even if cc has a bad record they are always very physical and in shape .

Re: 08 COACHING
Yes CC drops down to AA next year after being the smallest AAA school in the state for the past two years. It's a shame it didn't happen this year--would've been great to see another possible classic at the War Memorial like the LHAC OT thriller.
CC will look much different, save Jordan. They should be able to utilize the running game with a smaller quicker lineup, but then again they wont have Gowen and Holsinger to both put up points and play D in the paint. If BH plays, it'll be a fast breakers dream--6'9" center clears the boards, outlets to D1 point guard, and they're off to the races.
He's definitely an adequate 3pt shooter, but Myers has certainly progressed in rebounding and taking it to the hole, at least from what I've seen. Like I said, I don't know for sure, since he's never gotten legit varsity time because of the class ahead of him. He'll be better than some may think.
They may be athletic, but I doubt any freshmen will seriously contribute next year. They're not like the D.Holsinger-McGregor-Gowen class who were mature enough to start as sophomores. Also, there's too many upperclassmen that will play the bulk of the minutes.

Anyway, back on topic...
Windber should be making a decision soon. So many names have been flying around as who wants it and doesn't want it-- it's nuts!! My personal top two still stand, though things don't go as planned in Somerset County.
