The SEC is going to be an absolute battle. You have the returning National Champ in LSU. Georgia, who returns a lot, and dominant at the end of the season. Also, you have the returning Heisman trophy winner at Florida. None of these teams can be counted out for next year.

Crimson, let me clarify this a little bit. What I mean is that with the SEC, there are probably 5-6 teams that can legitimately win that conference each season. Remember: FIVE of those coaches have won national titles. I just don't think that we will see an SEC team in the title game each year because of that fact, even though they probably deserve it. Especially with 08, I think the SEC will be brutal.

Take a look at the BCS teams who have legitimate national title shots. Ohio State annually has a pretty easy road, even with Texas's and USC's in the early season. Michigan won't beat OSU this season, and if Illinois is the toughest game on your schedule, how could you pick Illinois over them? Remember: Ron Zook = great recruiting and 10-2 seasons. He doesn't win national titles. He'll get Illinois in the top 3 in the Big Ten, but that's where the ceiling starts.

Ohio State is an NFL factory who has a better 2nd team than 90% of the starters in the Big Ten. They'll be in the national title game against a non-SEC team and win it.

The whole lack of speed thing is a myth. Do you really think OSU does not have good speed? This myth is based on the team laying a complete egg against Florida two years ago. Last year's team was not even supposed to be in the title game with how young they were. If not for the debacle the year before, last years game would be seen for what it was - a young OSU team beaten by a more experienced LSU team. But the speed thing is a joke. Did you see Beanie Wells outrunning the LSU secondary? Do you really think the NFL keeps drafting players because they are slow. The Florida game was a disaster, but it was not an indication of the kind of team that OSU has fielded for the past four years. It was an aberration.

It doesn't who you are playing, if you can get a lot of pressure on a QB every down, and your own offense isn't terrible, you're going to win that game.

I think there's a case to be made that Ohio State is the best program in the country right now.

3.Trojans-They have had a top 5 recruiting class year after year consistently and if they arent in the Title game theyre in the Rose Bowl

Things are ending for Florida. Their Nat. Championship crystal fell off the stand a shattered into a thousand pieces. If that's not a bad omen for things to come, I don't know what is.

Tim Teabow's Heisman is still in one piece.....Florida is still the top dog.....i mean last year they replaced what like 15 starters? It was crazy and they still got to a New Years Day bowl game....Im thinking a 10-2 season this year and maybe another Heisman for Timmy

No way, buddy. The SEC is going to be too brutal for that Florida team. They STILL have RB problems, they are STILL going to have to rely on Tebow for everything, and I'm sorry, I like the kid as a player, but you cannot take that kind of punishment every week for 3 or 4 seasons in a row. He's already banged up, and it's only been one full season.

I don't dislike Florida, but I also do not see them going 10-2.
