All Conference LHAC

Post by BaseballKid1827 »

Is there an All LHAC team that gets mentioned in the Tribune or anything like that? Even if there isnt... are there any predictions now that everyone has had the chance to prove themselves all season??

seems like after all the LHAc teams are out of districts and states, they will post all conference members from each team.

Novotny was the best pitcher I saw all year in my opinion (but I didn't see everyone). I didn't see Westy play so I dont know about them. Did Helman really have that good of a year? He didnt impress me, but I only saw him once so thats probably an unfair statement. CC's Cornetti at catcher and Nalisnick at pitcher had quality seasons. No one from CH, PC, BG or Bedford in my opinion. How good of a year did Kaufman have? And forgive me, but I dont even know who Lechak is.

I will also admit, i did not get out to many games like i hoped to this year, but from the single Johnstown game i was at, Helman had a great game, and Alex Lechak (not sure on the first name) had a great defensive game at 2nd. And from what i remember he hit pretty well too, that is why i had him a 2nd. I made it out to one CC game and Nalisnick pitched a decent game but i felt the other 4 pitchers had a better overall year. And as for Kaufman, he didn't impress me at all. He might have had a good season, but the three games i attended, it was like he wasn't even there. He didn't contribute at all.

Andy Lytle from BG and John Fees from Heights both belong on that list as pitchers (and probably otherwise as I think both hit above .400). If either of those guys played in front of a better team, they'd have won five or six games. George Roberts only pitched 15 innings this year and was 1-1. Not sure he belongs there considering that.
Jon Kirby from FH should be on that list at second base instead of the guy you have there from Jtwn. Kirby hit above .500.
No offense to Richland and McCort, both had excellent seasons and have a lot of talented players, but you kids need to see more games before you start throwing around "all conference" talk.

Roberts does not deserve to be an all confrence pitcher. I know there is alot of talk about him throwing 90's but 12 k's in 15 IP does not look like a power pitcher's stats. I would take BG's Lytle, CC's Nalisnick, or PC's Brugh over him. A record of 1-1 with a 3.733 ERA in 15 IP is not all confrence stats. I think the kid is a good player with alot of potential, but the stats aren't there. Also FH's kirby had an outstanding season with .545 avg 27 R 21 RBI .788 SLG and .573 OBP. He is definitely an all confrence outfielder.

also, sorry if i offended anybody for adding Roberts and keeping out Kirby, like i said the list i made was just based off of the games i saw. No need to get offensive about anything because I'm not the one who actually decides all conference.
