Hey baby if I'm BM I dont care if I gave up 60 hits, was given 20 runs, and couldnt hit anything further than a swinging bunt...fact is, BM's moving on to the next round of the playoffs and youll be watching from home. Survive and advance my friend, any way possible.

Your right...BM is moving on to the next round and ole' Mount Union is sitting at home...but its a shame that the better team didnt win that game because District 6 won't be represented as well with bishop mccort having a chance of going into the state tourny...such a shame

Maybe I'm off base here, but if BM scores more runs in one game doesn't that mean that they were better than MU? With the playoffs it aint about who's been better for the regular season, so if you think it is you should just cry yourself to sleep right now. Its about showing up, on one day, and doing whatever you can to score more runs than your opponent. And obviously, McCort succeeded in doing so, while Mt. Union did not. End of story.

The tradition got slapped in the face. How dare McCourt beat Mt. Union. Dont they know about all the district and state championships??? Who do they think they are, being better than the one and only Mt. Union!? MU's ogre pitcher and young studs are the best in all the land. Those weak farm teams in the LHAC cant contend with us and PO. PO and MU are supposed to meet in an epic duel- a irresistable force vs. an unmovable object- for all the glory. Wow, that blows ay? Boo-hoo :'( .

Really gentlemen this post wasnt set up for trash talking. It was set up to talk about a good town tradition. Yes, the MU boys lost but I believe the boys from Bishop McCourt kno they had to fight there way out. They escaped Dodge and ill give it to them winning is winning. But the trash talking is unecessary both teams have fine players we can admit that, but ill say its sad that the MU boys and Bishop McCourt couldnt have met a little later, made one great Championship game.

Bishop Mccort may have scored more runs, but they definately are not the better team. That is all im going to say, bishop mccort isn't better and never will be better, i know that you have heard enough of this but look at the trophy case, who has more hardware, the only hardware that bishop mccort has was the hard-on they got when they realized that they just beat the mighty mount union trojans, which will probably never happen again.

and for the "kid".....your still gay...
