Penn State Lands WR from Maryland (5-28-08)

Larry Johnson creeps around Maryland worse than a cat burglar. 8 of the 11 commits in this PSU class have been recruited by him so far. The newest addition is Oxon Hill WR Brandon Felder. Felder is 6'3" 165 and runs a 4.5 forty. He picked PSU over Boston College, Maryland, and Syracuse.

Scout says:

“I knew all along that I wanted to go to Penn State,” Felder said. “I have always loved everything about Penn State and then with the tradition, education, and the relationship with the coaches they just felt like the right place.”

“I am going to go visit Penn State again this summer,” Felder said. “I am thinking about enrolling early, but I am not sure yet. The coaches told me that they don't want me to redshirt, so I am trying to figure out what is the best thing to do.”

Gus entered the NFL in his prime @ 47!

Actually Matt converted to Presbyterianism and is on scholy @ Austin College in Sherman, Texas! In only his 7th yr of college he attempted an 81 yd field goal (in honor of UPS coach Joepa) this past season but it clanged off the left upright indicitive of his tendency to still hook it, a little!
