After McCort overcomes a 4-0 deficit to take a 7-4 lead, BEA scores 4 with two outs in the bottom of the 7th to win 8-7.

Wow, what a game. I'm still wondering why McCort didnt start Harrington on the mound. He didn't allow a hit for 4 2/3 innings until the mayhem last inning. Great game by both teams though, one of the best high school baseball games I've seen in quite some time....

well that was a game to show you.....well all of you guys know very very very little about baseball.
Bishop McCort outplayed this team without a doubt...Hitting wise...McCort was right there with Bald Eagle and Colin Harrington proved why he was the best player on the field maybe the district last night

2-3 with a double and single 2 rbi's and an intentional wal. 4 2/3 innings of hitless baseball and he had to have 7-8 K's
The Bald Eagle hitters looked like a bunch of 12 year olds at times with Harrington's offspeed pitches then looked foolish when he blew the 82 mph fastball by them.


But it only took them 3 times around the order to figure him.And when they did it worked.Timely hitting.BEA wasnt a great hitting team took advantage of some walks and errors to score their runs but timely hitting won them the game. Hats off to them....But they werent nearly as good as everyone single one of you said they were. It was a well played game and McCort prooved a lot of people wrong.They lost but they made a statement that they are poised for a run back to the Blair County Ballpark

But goodluck to Bald Eagle going up against the number one team of the wpial.


Id like to see McCort-Bald Eagle rematch in Western Final. Hopefully it works out that way.

its funny when the mccort fans got on here and were ragging on the mount union fans (which i am), and telling us that it doesn't matter who played better or who was the better team, the only thing that mattered was who won. Well my crusher fans, practice what you preech. You guys lost, and it doesn't matter what anybody was saying about you guys getting hammered, the only thing that matters is who has more points at the end, i think that is a quote from one of your fans. So you lost...but fortunately for you, you have another chance, so stop saying that you are better than bald eagle because you are clearly not (even though i didn't see much from bald eagle in the game)...good luck in the state tourny
