Western PA ranks D6 Players

What do people think of the rankings?
Thought overall it was a pretty good write-up. Not sure who the kid from NC is but they seem to think he's pretty darn good??

Re: Western PA ranks D6 Players
Sites like that only rank what they have. People in or around each individual program have to submit the info and stats. Lotsa coaches don't like teenagers worrying about anymore hype than they have to and submit nothing. Notice no Forest Hills,Altoona, State College, Tyrone players listed? Pretty sure you can come up with a few kids that will play at the next level from just those schools let alone all the others no mentioned. It's good to see local kids recognized, but don't make the mistake of thinking the ones on the list are the only ballplayers around.

Mehall from FH was listed. But I do get your point.
However, dont you find it interesting that a player from NC was at the tops?

Anyone know who is behind this site?
The owner lists himself only as "David" and the site is registered through Domains by Proxy, which is a company people use to keep their identity secret.
Hmmmmmmm.

Paronish from NC , his dad Andy was head coach for 2 yrs at NC. The kid is only 5 ' 7" 130 - 150 lbs. The best he is going to get is Slippery Rock or some Div ll school (not IUP). Hey football in any college is great so good luck but a free safety having 10+ and even 20+ tackle games you pick what happened?
a. NC had no def line or lb's.
b. a lot of diving on after the play.
c. stats guy kissing the head c's butt.
P.S. I thought he was going to BC this year.

Flyby,
I was responding to Eaglealum in saying that Mehall(a player from FH) was on the list.
If it were me, id have ranked him higher.

Re: Western PA ranks D6 Players
Thats too funny. I am surprised non of the "official" bleacher coaches caught that sooner. Hey if the high school coaches want their kids heads to swell they can send their stats (name) into those sites. We will all just have to wait and see come September as to who is the real deal. I do know that alot of coaches pad their kids stats...especially in LHAC bball. I would assume the same for football. You cant always go by what Max preps says. Get out and see some good high school football and don't rely on certain websites (b.c included) or Max preps for official high school athletic info.
