Re: Schedules
Does it matter?
Re: Schedules
If it is true, the answer is quite logical. When FH has an away game, they always bring a ton of fans to the game. Somerset does not bring nearly as many to THEIR away games. Considering the energy crisis we are all experiencing, movng the game to FH will save our nation hundreds of gallons of gas, as many FH fans won't be zig-zagging through Cambria and Somerset counties on that Friday night. Thank you.

Re: Schedules
By that logic, the pitiful few Somerset fans would have to drive their own gasoline-powered vehicles to Cambria County, but the environmentally concerned FH fans would have enough people to rent one or more diesel-powered buses to convey them to Somerset, thus saving even more gasoline.
If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.

Re: Schedules
Jolly. The schedules of this year and last have been somewhat scrambled, as is proven by the 10 game regular season schedules, and scrimmages outside the conferences . That being said, I am fully aware that Somerset played in Sidman last year, but in order to set the "new" schedules straight, Forest Hills had to have 5 home games scheduled, so Somerset "became" a home game this year again. Until someone of proven AUTHORITY says otherwise, I stand by my earlier scheduling comment. Thank you.

Worst possible thing for gas prices is if ( it wont) The Rangers and The Crushers meet ever again at Mansion Park. 2 teams that travel extremely well and quite a trip.
Jesus hates McCort because ________________ .
Re: Schedules
Thank God most of the McCort players get scholarships to attend BM. That'll save their parents money to help them afford gas should they have to travel in the playoffs. AND does McCort travel well? I've seen alot of their regular season away games over the years and no one's there. Now in the playoffs it's a different story, but during the regular season?????

Re: Schedules
Like you said Moldy, they should travel well b/c the school os basically subsidizing their gas money.

Re: Schedules
i mean i dont think its a question that mccort might not travel well in the regular season......Bishop McCort is not backed by one particular area.Soo i mean Forest Hills travels so well because i mean what the hell else are you guys going to do...Morris's will still be open after the game. Why not catch a game in the meantime
Re: Schedules
The Crushers still have a good fan base. BC is the one that used to travel well but these days yikes. They should be good this year maybe more people will attend.
