No, being a moderator does not make me infallible, not by a long shot...However, experience working for two college basketball scouting services might make me just a little bit knowledgeable on the subject.

Vescovi from Heights D1 material? How big is he? If he ain't 6' 8" he won't go anywhere D1 in basketball.

Ok southpaw, you are starting to sound like another talent expert from a nearby county. There are many D1's around. HE might not be Duke or Kentucky material, but there are many other D1's around. Unlike others in the past, this Vescovi plays Defense as well.

He's 6'7" and a growing boy.

Then I defer to your experience, HR. I'll regard your future posts with the respect they deserve. I still disagree with you, though.

Thanks, Gator. I saw Saint Francis play Bucknell the other night. Both teams are off to a weak start, but it's still pretty good basketball. Vescovi looks like he could easily play at Loretto in a few years. In fact, I bet they try to recruit him.

Vescovi is 6'7 and is only a sophomore. I'd be willing to say he has one of the best shots from the outside in the area. He is too quick for a true big man to guard and too tall for a guard to cover. If he gets stronger he will be extremely tough.

Big Blue needs another win soon. Travels to Westmont and Tussey make for a long week.

I didn't know he was big and young. Might develop into a hot prospect.

Gator: don't lecture me from your bar stool at Tony's. Your still a bum!
Did you get the insulation on the old trailer before the big snow hit? If you didn't it'll be a long winter.

You might want to get that dead dog off the chain and go and bury to poor thing! I was by your trailer right before Thanksgiving and saw it and my buddy said that it had been laying there for two weeks! Show a little decency Gator!

Foghorn I think you are correct that some patience is needed for Bedford. I think we are losing sight of the fact it is only the second week of season. While it is never good to lose, it is better to lose in December than February (playoffs).

McConnelsburg 48 Northern Bedford 28! Ouch!
