Pac-10 Officiating

How many more times are we going to see a Pac-10 referee blow a call and cost someone a game? That call in that Washington game was a complete travesty. Absolutely pathetic. This is why I talk so much crap on that whole conference. It's a joke.

TAE. I can't agree more. I saw that call and it sucked! You are right about the pack 10. Its a JOKE. We saw it today at happy valley!

not to defend the call or anything, but the official did have a good point when he said it wasn't that much of a judgment call. if the rules state that you're not allowed the throw the ball into the air in celebration, then it's not really the official's fault that it's in the rulebook, he's just doing his job. That being said, i think it's a stupid rule and thought it was horrible to call that so late in the game and it's unfortunate that it helped...yes, helped in deciding the game. Not the official's fault that BYU blocked the extra point.

The pac-10 offcials care about one team and that is USC You never see a bad call against them.

It more than "helped" decide things! Not only does the trajectory on that kick have to be lower for more distance; It took the question of going for 2 out of the equation. Wash were the dogs with nothing to lose and all the momentum.The whole thing is sad. I'd be bonkers if were a team I cared about.
