Sinosky, Burgan, and Pisarchik from Portage, if they were in the LHAC, should be in the top 5.

But they aren't because Portage cannot handle it.

baseball555 wrote:^that^ is a great problem to have, also its nice that Mccort doesnt run up scores. I really appreciate that from salem , shows real class

The words Salem and class should never be that close together.

These kids have not seen anywhere near the caliber of defenders (especially D-lineman) that the LHAC backs have. This is not even comparable

However, Lakersfan, using that logic, they have not had "near the caliber" of offensive linemen blocking for them either. An individual star player from a small school (like a good running back) could easily transition to a good LHAC team (like Schilling and BC) and be very successful. I'm sure there are other examples, but that is the one that comes to mind.
If you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else.

Good point, BC did also beat BM in the class A playoffs (twice) whens BC was playing in what now is the Hertiage formerly the Appalacian League or something.

Those kids from Portage would have trouble cracking the top 5 on the depth chart at McCort let alone the LHAC.
