no...not at all. playing goal at procare is all about position. at a certain point it doesn't matter how fast your reaction time is...it's about being in the right place at the right time. it will speed up your reaction time, yes, but just because you do well at procare doesn't translate to doing well out side. the goal inside at procare is what? 8X6...if that. net outside is 24X8. 3 times the distance to cover across... so to answer your question psff, no they don't use the same skill.

Yeah did anybody ever play at the summit where the goal is like 6x4. Its all about position. Even more than at procare, but it does help alot with ur reaction time.

I have been reading these posts with some interest and decided i would offer my view on it.
Playing indoor soccer does help , it is different than outdoor no doubt, but the only way you get better is to play more soccer whether it be indoor or outdoor soccer.
I have seen how Brandon has developed from the 1st practice to what he is now and the difference is night and day. He has developed into a very solid keeper and plans on going to a goalkeeper camp to further his development.
I have more insight in his development than any of you since i am the one that has been working with him a couple times a week on all sorts of keeper drills to make him better.
I would say the team would benefit more from having Runk in the field and Adams in the goal as Runk could give them a lift on the field and Adams is potentially a very good keeper.

Conemaugh Township is still undefeated too. I think it would be a great game if they play each other.

wow, half of you talk out of no where are you kidding? no mention of conemuagh township and were 6-0-1? you talk about f-m losing to shippensburg only 4-2 we tied altoona, and had them beat 3-1 but keeper got hurt with a few to go. So how can you even think of adding north star in the running...there 0-5 we've made 6 statment games so far, beating everyone we've played and not one has even been close.

did you read the title of the thread??? "Comes out of nowhere to make d5 playoffs" I don't think there's any doubt in anyone's mind CT will make the playoffs.

don't sleep on windber in d-5 this year. thy're 4-4 and could easily be 7-1 or 6-2. lost to strong township and berlin teams by 1 and 2 respectively, and has one of the best forwards in the district with burkett
