Re: Week 6 scores

There was a play last night in the beginning of the 4th quarter that told the tale of the game. CC had the ball and it was something like 3rd and 3. They ran a QB sneak and the entire FH defense was pushed 7-10 yards backwards.

6 turnovers never helps, but the line play was the difference in that game.

The story of the game was the 6 TURNOVERS. Glessner threw four pics one for a TD and fumbled once. It wasn't hat CC line was dominating the FH line that bad they were realing off about 3 to 4 yards on first and second down. Then third down would come and they would pull of the statue of liberty play (I thought I was watching a pee wee game lol). About 70 of Osaben s 130 yards rushing were from this one play. All joking aside though the time of possession was probably 5 to 1 in CC's favor. FH had 8 possessions I think 6 were turnovers and 2 were punts. First CC score FH s secondary let a kid run alone in the secondary. Lazaration was out for some reason so had a first timer back there and it showed. Second score was set up by the Statue of Liberty was about 3rd and 15 and the ran it dow to the 5 I think. Third was the pic for the td. To sum the gam up FH's line/throwing/seconary/tackling/turnovers gave CC this game on a silver platter.

Bailey also I think to believe when in a close game does not call good plays at all. I counted and NOT 1 screen was ran in this game. CC stacked the line to stop Mehall 8 in the box and not just in the box at the line of scrimmage. I never seen line backers before play that close and they would all blitz. A screen would of been MONEY. Also downfalls for FH. A punt return where the kid had a for sure touchdown down the sideline but cut back into the middle of the field and the same on a pic return the kid had 5 blockers out in front of him and ran the opposite way.

All in all probably the worst game I have seen FH play since the South Park game 3 years ago. Every one in green and gold looked to be out of it on that field. Didn't look like any of these kids were fired up for this game. But usually when FH wins D6 AA there is always a game where they just come out and fold. Again back to three years ago FH got beat up by Bedford. I think Bailey tells his kids to fold a game so he can use the famous quote in the paper we are getting better every week afte the lose(that was a joke). My one and true wish is that these teams meet again at the stomping grounds in Siman. But the way things are shaping up they won see each other again until they both win to get to the TURF.

In other news, BM over WH 38-14. After a shaky start (WH up 7-0 in the first), BM rambled off 38 straight. WH got one in with a couple minutes left in the 4th using their 1st string vs BM's 3rd. BM's offense looked good, but their defense looked great (after the first drive). BM's Domokos returned a kickoff 75 yards down the the WH 13 which the Crushers eventually scored on. BM had 3 or 4 INTs with Reynolds returning one 70 yards to the house. Lowry and Wadley looked as good as ever, but credit WH for hanging tough and limiting the big play for most of the game. Oh btw, Pinkerton did an excellent job filling in for Schrey at QB and Corner. Also out was BM's ILB in Belskey. WH's line was impressive, atleast to look at. Their "Big Boys" # 70, 74,77 didnt do a whole lot, but #4 (Valcheff) showed up to play. This game came down to the 3rd quarter: score was 14-7 BM in the 2nd, end of the third was 31-7, I believe. McKlosky and Keklak also had a nice games for the Hilltoppers. BM secondary chased McKlosky around all game and Keklak had numerous runs up the middle where he'd just come shooting out of the mess. Good luck next week to BM who takes on Jtown at The Point while WH travels over to the "other" hill to take on the Rams.
