Re: Top 10 Annoying things in LHAC
In all seriousness I really do think that ALL football games should be played Friday nights under thelights. Seriously, th kids at Westmont don't probably even understand how good the feelings are of coming out to a home crowd screaming under the lights. Its a shame to deprive the kids of that.

Whoever made the comment about mothers, let us not forget who produced those kids on the field for you to complain about. I'm proud of my kid, and I like to let him know, as well as the rest of the kids.

When I played I remember a certain couple of teams that when you beat them, you would get ice cold showers after the game. That was the worst/best feeling in the world.
When you lost however they would always provide a nice warm shower for some reason.

If some of you think that Ranger Dave and his buddy (s) are the "drunk FH fans", then you really don't know much. They are just true longtime fans who may or may not have an adult beverage at Morris' before the game. This happens at most LHAC games and venues. It's part of "Americana". I could name bars in every town that has a football team in the area. I don't go there, but many do. It's part of our individual freedoms. If someone is too inebriated, that's what the police and rent-a-cops are for at the games. If you feel someone is doing or saying something inappropriate, get your butt out of your seat and bring it to the attention of security. Don't sit, whine, and complain on bleachercoaches that you don't like what some people are doing or saying. They have as much freedom and/ or rights as you do. Yes, they paid their 5 bucks and are going to do their thing. So did you. Makes everyone even.

$5 paid admission does not give anyone the right to yell things toward the field except for positive comments. These athletes are not being paid so they shouldn't hear any criticism from the fans. You want to yell at the Steelers for getting shelled by the Eagles after you pay $70-$100 to get into the game, so be it.
I know the coaches and refs are being paid, but yelling at them only sets a poor example of sportsmanship for the players and young kids in the crowd. You can think of all the negative comments you want in your head, but save them for the bar after the game and away from the kids. Too many kids today believe that the only reason that they lose is because they're being screwed by the officials, when they should be asking themselves what they can do to improve their game. And where does this attitiude come from? Adults who let them or teach them to believe that it's true.
As far as Ranger Dave goes, I've never seen the guy. As long as he's yelling positive things and cheering for his Rangers, there's no harm in that. If someone just finds him annoying, then that's their problem.

I couldn't disagree more there "GreatApe". Let me guess...you coach a 5 year old AYSO soccer team you sissy. Lets get real here folks...if you can't take criticism...you shouldn't be playing sports. This don't get on kids crap is just that...crap. If you can't take a few dumb fans yelling at you...get off the field, because you sure as heck aren't going to make a play in crunch time if you are worried about Joe Smoe telling you about how bad you suck. Let me guess GreatApe...you are eating a cupcake watching a lifetime movie right now...GrapeApe wrote:$5 paid admission does not give anyone the right to yell things toward the field except for positive comments.
As far as Ranger Dave goes...being a Crusher fan I love the guy for two reasons:
1) He represents what Forest Hills is about...dumb hunky farmers
2) He gets upset when McCort whoops up on FH...which means he gets upset a lot and it is good to look at his face when exiting the field

At FH, usually there is no room on the home side if you get there late. Any way its more fun going in to the lions den sometimes.nLions1 wrote: 4. Fans that sit on the other teams side (Usually makes other parents mad, and causes fights)
As far as the praying goes..I think thats kinda just showboating. I mean couldnt a team or player just pray to himself in the locker room before a game? If a player gets injured and needs taking out by ambulance then thats a different story. Ive seen lately college and NFL teams get the players from both teams together to pray. Now thats sportsmanship in every aspect of the game.
Forest Hills prays before every game as a team. The last team in the area to do that i think.
Jesus hates McCort because ________________ .

CH does it and I believe that BG does too
