Rockwood vs. Meyersdale & D5 playoff discussion

Any thoughts on this weeks game featuring Rockwood vs. Meyersdale?

I personally think that Rockwood's going to easily handle the Red raiders. I'm thinking a final of 35-7.

Rockwood will take this game and continue on with their playoff run. D-5 baby!

Looking at this past week's results, this game will have D5 playoff implications. It appears the top 4 seeds in no particular order will be Everett, Windber, NB, C. Twp.

After that it looks like TM could make a run, Rockwood/Meyersdale could make a run, and Berlin will have a tough time getting that 4th W with their remaining opponents. They really needed to beat Blacklick this week.

TM has @ Williamsburg, @ SH, and Glendale remaining. I think they have a legit shot at getting in. They'll probably beat Williamsburg, and then they have 2 tough opponents to end the year. Both of those games are toss up type of games... If they win at Southern in week 8, I see them winning at home against Glendale knowing a playoff game is on the line.

Rockwood- They have 2 wins now. Hancock is very winnable for them. They have Meyersdale this week. They finish up with Hancock and then Blacklick. If they win 2 of 3 they get their 4 wins. If they lost this weekend, they still would have a reasonable shot at getting in since they'll probably beat Hancock. That lets them with Blacklick in the final week to get in.

Meyersdale- They have Rockwood this weekend obviously. This is a must win for them. They don't want to HAVE to beat Windber in the final week to get into the playoffs. If they beat Rockwood and Blacklick they are in.

Lots of what ifs.... All in all, this game is important for both teams as they hope to make the D5 playoffs.

Rockwood will not beat Meyersdale 35-7 "white4life" are you kidding me? The most ridiculous prediction I have ever heard.

I think it will be a close game with rockwood ending up in front From what i've seen from both teams, rockwood seems more disciplined with a stronger backfield. Is this game in rockwood or meyersdale? What are the final schedules like for Everett and NB?

Everett has Mt. Union this week then I'm not sure after that.

NB has home games against Southern Huntingdon, MU, and West Branch left.
