Im new here... but had a few things to say... seems tis is the place to go... Went to the Forest Hills/ Richland game Friday night... paid 4.00 per person... no student tickets... full price for the kiddos... then.. was gonna run out to the car... and a couple of women stopped me saying , if I leave, I have to pay the 4.00 all over again. Told her im headed out to have a quick smoke, she says I have to cross over the high way to smoke,,, I understand that... I would have,, but when headed to my car,,, I looked behind the locker rooms... there were about 10 people standing there smoking.... they were apparently FH fans because of the colors they sported... but... I guess im just all around disappointed. I will not go back to Ranger country, for a game....... I was not impressed. :oops:

That just tells you how bad FH fans are..they shouldnt smoke anyway. Its bad for you.

I thought chewing was the preference in Ranger country anyway???

WTF are you talking about. Are you more concerned about people smoking than hardcore High school football? You my friend are a true fan.

I never enjoyed going to Sidman for games (except Morris', of course). I was in my stands at a game and my son intercepted a FH pass. I did a little back slapping to the guy in front of me and he tried to punch me in the face. Upon realizing that he was not for my team, I kindly explained where the FH fans were sitting. By the way, I'm also one of the awful folks who enjoys a nice cigarette and flybynight enjoys the benefits of all that tax money I pay to have to cross the highway and hide out.

I think momof2 has to get around more. Went to the FH game last Friday at St. Francis to see FH play BG. Not only was it a far drive, but had to park at the basketball arena, which is quite a walk to the football field. The tickets were $5.00 and they too sell only one price of ticket. Most schools only sell one price tickets at games. Student tickets are often sold in schools the week before the game. I'm sure ALL stadiums on school property have a no smoking policy on the actual school grounds. Not sure how that policy works in situations like Portage where the stadium is not near the school. As far as some adults smoking behind the locker-rooms, what can you say? And, at every FH game I go to, an announcement is made that there are NO pass-out checks once you enter the stadium. You leave you buy another ticket to get back in.

I haven't been a HS game in a decade (PA and especially TX) where you could leave the stadium and come back inside without buying another ticket.
