I'm a d-bag & you're quoting a kid about going to BM for 2 months?

And what am i going to do w/ my life....well, when i grow up I'm going to purchase this available business in Smethport and work on coal/diamond conversion you see...Heat and pressure change coal into diamond, but it is the change in crystal structure that results in the color change. Graphite is composed of flat sheets of carbon similar to shale and basically keeps going in all direction until the end of the sheet. Diamond is a 7-carbon crystal, which is 3-dimensional and therefore gives the crystal light refracting properites. Color is a result of light absorbtion or light reflextion....Then i'll probably take up wearing an Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie!

If you mean me, I was talking to anybody who can translate this stuff for me. Now I wish I didn't know.

to vman. i'm not crying and neither is my son i was just stating the facts and of course everybody goes off on a tangent or writing crazy things, but NOBODY has addressed the real issue of the unfairness between the 2 sets of rules that is my point can anybody seriously talk about it? i can imagine that life is better at BM, BC, or BG than a lowly public school. that isn't the issue. the issue is sports directed and NOT educationally

McCort tried recruiting Terrelle Pryor, but he lived with his dad not his mom.

Tonight was my first night of ever looking at this site. And after about 5 minutes I quickly realized that the mccort haters out there pretty much do not have a clue what they are talking about. To say that mccort recruits is completely ridiculous. And if mccort actually does recruit, I would have to believe that they are incredibly terrible at it. Just think about some of the players over the years that have went from catholic grade schools to public high schools. I mean almost half of omos goes to westmont. And I personally consider OMOS kids to be mccort kids. So mccort cant even recruit their own kids. Just to name a few over the years that have made the switch: the mezyks, the omahnes, the stephensons, matt cowan, battaglias, chessa, joe balog... dave and mike galluci, ed stofko, casey long, kurt hoffman all went to johnstown.

I just dont know what mccort does that gives people the idea that they recruit. If someone can explain what they do that gives people the idea that they recruit, I would love to hear it. Has anyone ever thought that parents may send their kids to mccort because maybe mccort does a better job of sending kids to college than other public schools. Millions of scolarship dollars is offered to mccort graduates every year. Mccort's focus is to continually upgrade their school in every way possible to help make their kids better off in the present and future. Thats why kids go there. If thats recruiting...then so be it.

Correct you are FBN. Had Terrelle Pryor lived in Johnstown like he was supossed to, the Crimson Crushers would be 3 time state champs in AA, but things didnt quite pan out that way.

Had Terrelle Pryor still lived in Jtown, he would have been used to the recruiting process as well, and would have made a better decision in his future, going with Penn State for college, over OSU. Instead, he wasnt used to the recruiting process and made a mistake...

Lol millions of scholarship offers, you act like Richland and Westmont dont get as many kids college academic tuition aid. And maybe they do not official recruit or break any rules per say, but as long as they can take any school districts prime athletes at any given time basically without repercussions, the playing field will never truly be equal, period. So go ahead have fun destroying most D6 A schools, but in my eyes and many others eyes there will always be a big * there.

you do know a team consisting of parochial players would still be 9-0 this year.....it helps having belonis and wadley and rugg.....but in all seriousness.....McCort would still be 9-0 with kids that never attended a public school....So How can that public school complain? Westmont never had Lowry or Schrey or McAneny Seidel ect....So why should it bother them cause thats what your all sayin....

The Pryor thing is ridiculous....and fyi Pryor didnt live with either parents so that kind of takes away from your credability.

And with the point brought up earlier with OMOS kids going to Westy.....Westy build a grils basketball program with parochial athletes but youll never hear about that.....

No I agree for the most part having an all parchoial team thing they would still be a good team, but a few quality players they have gotten(even in reserve rules) could have resulted in a few less wins in the close games the last few years. Yes they would still be a good area program, but not like they currently are on. With that said having the advantage does not mean it comes easy, they still have to work hard and do not rely on talent alone, but man does it help.
