The reality is BM knows the #'s are down & will not fluctuate as they have have in the past decade; the closure of many parochial schools is not a good sign for future enrollments! In my opinion, there should be a seperate state classification for catholic schools. its only the fairest way to do it. Then the recruiting subject wouldn't come up in district/state titles. I would also think that for cambria county there should be only one catholic school, that way they could compete with other catholic schools around the state.

As far as McCort being A, its deffinitly easier to win D6 but the state is a different story as rochester is a power house and southern columbia would beat most AA teams for the state title each year.

As far as FH and the whole AAA arguement, i'm sure they would compete AAA if they had the chance. Why win 2 games to get to Mansion Park when you only have to win 1?? Plus in District 6, the competition in AA is sooo much better than that in AAA.

I am in absolute agreement with you on the separation of public and private schools in athletics AND the combining the Catholic high schools. The powers-that-be should have gone ahead and put McCort and Carroll together, and housed at the old Vo-Tech building near UPJ. Just think: Cambria County Catholic Crushers.. State Champions in hockey, football, basketball, soccer, and tennis.

I wish all you posters that are like from 18-35 would get a life. It is obvious that after high school was over so was football because you guys care way to much about what mccort does as far as players, wins, and classification. As a matter of fact lets get real you can't possibly think westpac, heritage, or any bottom feeder in lhac is good football. And if you do its prolly cause you don't know any better (high school football all stars with no post high school play..lol). I'm really not tryin to hate on other programs in the area but it just isnt' good football. And who the hell cares what you did in 1992 or went undefeated in 1998 it says nothing about your program PRESENTLY!! Presently it seems that Mccort has the best football in the area since their record in the last 5-6 years and player output AFTER HIGH SCHOOL shows it. Mainly teams like richland i heard they think our game every year is a rivalry. Well one win out of the last 20 something years doesn't make you a rival or a contender no one at mccort even cares about half these posters from Bum A** schools. So please pat39, white4life, red4life, ancient enemy and phillips dad and any other Al bundys holding on to high school get a life HS is over.lol
