Re: LHAC
Your section 1 picks I have to question. When I look at the up coming year I look at the coaches (Do they have a history of turning out good teams each year) and of course the returning talent (Players)
I rank the teams this year as follows:
Section 1
BG - One of the areas best young coaches
CC - This coach always has a top program year after year
PC. I do not know much about them.
Bedford – should be better than last year
CH – always near the bottom
Forest Hills - This coach has never produced and will have less talent this year.

Re: LHAC
Not sure how you can have Johnstown #1 when they were 12-15 last year.
Re: LHAC
i dont understand how you can have CH second to last. not being bias or anything but CH was near the top last year, and they have 4 returning starters.straightshooter wrote:Your section 1 picks I have to question. Re: LHAC
bedford soccer dude,
I think that you have Section 1 listed as worst to first. I think having a healthy Holsinger for CC gets Traino a 20+ win season. A season without him may turn into a 15-9 kind of season for those in the county seat. Heights had a heck of a year last year, but can they duplicate it? BG may well just sneak up on people in Class A this year.
I can't argue much with your Section 2 picks. Somerset, Richland, and BC will probably be lousy. Westmont's new coach will have a lot of success if he can get the chemistry right, and keeps Callihan away from the boys. He was a lot more successful when he was on the other side of the gym with headphones on.

Re: LHAC
I cant see anyone giving the Trojans any problems this year. Heights will also be tough.
Sledge, I think Callahan was more than successful in his coaching stint at Westy before, he got that program on track. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Is Callahan an assistant coach at Westy this year?

Yes, talked to his brother the asst. coach at BC last weekend and he confirmed it. Just one year to help in the transition from what I hear. He has been asst. AD for the passed 2 years. He has been around the league, could be a big help. Still not enough to beat the Trojans though.
