VALID POINT????? According to you & the mindless haters, private schools are not allowed students from any district that has a public school; and in case you have not noticed all districts have public schools. Therefore, the necessitated Pod Stratagem & All BC students would in fact be from no school district!!The Ancient Enemy wrote:So now valid points AND alien spacecraft both go right over your head.
BRILLIANT

Just as Ebensburg, Cresson, Carroltown & Patton have traditionally sent kids to BC, so to has Blacklick...so what is big deal re. kids from a nearby community (that traditionally sends kids to this private institution) doing so??

...Did anyone read TheTruth's post from 4:23 AM this morning? Maybe he wrote it after he fell out of bed striking his head. Addressing the post to me (El-Moldo), he said at the BM-BA game I witnessed "2 or 3 transfers who IMPACTED the game for McCort, but said that BM would have still won the game WITHOUT those transfers". Oh really???? He went on to say that "sure those transfers were good ballplayers, but that McCort has some backups that culd step in and fill those spots ADEQUATELY enough. Tell me, how do you go from 2 or 3 IMPACT transfers to ADEQUATE backups and not miss a step. Doesn't Salem play his BEST players at each position? Then it's obvious that the starters were BETTER players than the backups or else the backups would have been starting instead, right. And when you only win a game by 4 points, those 2 or 3 transfers made quite a difference in the outcome of the game, don't you think? Normally your best players are your starters (unless Salem promised them something when they signed to come McCort). So to say that playing the backups would have made NO difference in the game is a joke.
...And then TheTruth came up with his "All the big plays in the BM-BA game were made by parochial school kids". Is he serious???? On defense, I heard Bealonis' and Merriman's name mentioned all night long. So they didn't score a touchdown or run for a first down. So what? They did, however, make up 1/6th of the McCort defense which was able to hold BA to only 20 points. These tow players weren't important to the games outcome? Maybe this week against Portage, Salem can insert those "parochial school kid backups" instead of Bealonis and Merriman and see what difference they make.

Man, that must be nice. Could you imagine a public school continually multiple "upgrades" on a team?

If you take a look at who led the Crushers in tackles in the LV game, you will see a non-starter vs BA. They have depth, sure the starters are better (duh!) but they do have back-ups that don't miss a beat.

Hypothetically speaking - Lets say we just cancel all sports at Catholic Schools, and send them back to their respective schools for sports..somewhat like a vo-tech situation. They can get their Catholicism during the day on Osborne St. and then return to their home districts for sports. This would serve 2 purposes: Save the Diocese and the parents tons of money, and it would end this bickering. Of course, if this were the case, how many student/athletes would McCort have?
