What is so bad about this comment? He’s confident in his team and is not afraid to say it. Why does everything coaches/players say have to be politically correct? They’ve gotten this far and they should have the confidence of a #1 team now they just need to go out and prove it.

As far as bulletin board material, this is the District Championship Game if you need a quote from the opposing coach to get you pumped for this game then you probably shouldn’t be playing.

Great quote! Gouse is 100% right!

Though it's going to be awfully hard to beat Bishop McCort Community College.

I really would love it if my coach would say before the game "We are the best team around, other than the one we have to play this week"

No. My quote about the T-shirts was right the first time. "BM is the best Catholic school in District 6A who takes in non-Catholic players and gives them scholarships to help with their tuition".

Another defense mechanism? As vman said during his Jimmy Durante impression, "I've got a million of 'em".

Does anyone else find it annoying everytime BM plays someone everybody has to talk about how its an unfair game cause catholic schools are allowed to pull from a wider range of areas? Seriously, its not the players faults that their schools is able to "recruit" or have kids come from different school districts. Portage should forget about oping the door for an excuse if they lose and worry about getting ready for a tough match up. McCort can be beatin, they are just a bunch of teenages just as Portage is and every other team. If one play here or there goes differently CC could have beat them and they field a team just like every other public school. Stop deciding what is fair and what isnt and just line up and play the game. Its so irritating and rediculous to be making excuses that they cant be beat and all this just because they are a bishop. Honestly all that quote ment to me was, well its been a good season and i hope we win, but if we lose its okay cause its wasnt a fair game anyway since were a public school. Put on the gear, line up, and go play football. And ive said it on here before that I hope BM shows up and puts a beating on Portage. Im a CC fan and therefore a "public school guy" if thats what you want to call it, but I say LET GO CRUSHERS!

2002 through 2006 Southern Columbia owned single A in football winning five straight titles. One of these was against the catholic high school Bishop Carroll. So can all the Portage fans quit whining and crying and understand that SC was not the least bit concerned who they played en route to 5 straight title games. They were the team to beat.

Yo Youngbuck....this is your Old Head,

Are you telling me that you have never heard of Southern Columbia's numerous recruiting allegations? I have ties to So Columbia through a friend, his nephew played, they both admit it.

Don't even list Southern Columbia, they are as bad as the parochial schools.
