McGuffie Gone is a Done Deal I Guess?

Looks like the rumors are true. Here's what I found out.

Along with Zion Babb, who RichRod confirmed was leaving the team (due, reportedly, to personality issues with the coaches), **haven't heard this one before about those UM coaches, have we?** there is insider chatter that McGuffie is leaving UM. Not sure why, but the source is Fred Jackson's agent. Jackson is the RB coach. (The info comes indirectly to me, but MY contact is usually trustworthy.)

McGuffie is gone from the Michigan program. For those who haven't heard, he told the coaches about 20 minutes before Saturday's game that he refused to play.

This was my reply:

I'm not surprised at all. Him "refusing to play" follows his personality pretty well. This kid was a head case since day 1 of his recruiting, and it does not surprise me at all that he threw a hissy fit over sitting the bench behind a senior RB who is much stronger than him and a much better RB. This is what happens when sites and coaches tell a kid with an ego problem that he's even better than he thinks he is.
