S Cube there are about 5 other running backs with more yards rushing then he does. So to restate my claim that he doesnt have the stats. HE DOESNT.

171 yards, 2 TD passing, Rushing: 1564 yards on 228 carries, 15 TD, Receiving: 22 receptions for 456, 5 TD.....if my ciphering is right that's almost 2,200 yds. of offense w/ 22 T D's & on Defense: 100 tackles & 4 int!!! NO WONDER THEY CALL HIM CONFUSED CHATTERAmusedChatter wrote:..... to restate my claim that he doesnt have the stats. HE DOESNT.

VMAN you are pathetic.
Lets see your all area team then.
O wait you just get on here to talk your religious bull****
Who and where would you like to put the Runk kid VMan?????
RB?? Would you put him over....
1) Zac Newton - 271 Attempts 2059 Rushing Yards 7.6 YPA 18 TD's
2) Andrew O'Saben - 287 Attempts 1892 Rushing Yards 6.6 YPA 21 TD's
3) Scott Mehall - 201 Attempts 1830 Rushing Yards 9.1 YPA 25 TD's
Runk - 228 Attempts 1564 Rushing Yards 6.8 YPA 15 TD's
Common VWoman I thought BM would teach you to be smarter than that.

I am pathetic?? Oh it hurts to hear you say that Confused!AmusedChatter wrote:VMAN you are pathetic.
The 3 rb's you list obviously had great yrs & are very talented but you're making a fool out of yourself AGAIN, by 'putting down Runk!!
You list a couple rb's there & let's focus first on the fh rb....now his line was clearly better, & fh had better receivers & a qb w/ a better arm....and they lost @ home to Central...led by a sophomore who had 2,200 yds. of offense w/ 22 T D's & on Defense: 100 tackles & 4 int.
And we know that CC (w/ plenty of other talent) laid a bagel on fh during the yr and their line pushed fh's line around but the Runk led S Dragons crushed them in title game & there is no doubt who their all star is...Runk!

Re: 2008 All-Area Team
I'm not going position by position, because I haven't seen enough other teams to make an educated choice on all the positions, but from what I've seen, here's as far as I'll go.
QB- 1ST TEAM- Ott(h-burg) outstanding year and talent, pushed last years' qb who is now playing on Saturdays.
HM- Ramirez(rich), definate skilled at trade, Reihart(Tyrone) cream of underclassmen at position-will break several career school records next year., and Brown(BG) stood out on "team oriented" team.
RB-1st team-- Osaben, and Runk.....best instincts and skills of the people at this position.--HM- Newton, Sinoski,Mehall, and Glace.
oN THE LINE, I have seen several oustanding ballplayers. but to go by position...I'd leave worthy folks out so, I'll say this, McGrath(Holl) is tough, Dustin Weaver(Tyr) at guard was impressive, the guard from Westmont and the big kid on the left side from Forest Hills were very good. Greene from BC is legit and will play in college. and the best performance week in, week out from a lineman was Tyrone's 2-way tackle, Jarrod "Bubba" Good. He destroyed people EVERY week, and took no plays off.
TE- Cafferty (Cent) , 1st team----HM- Shaffer(Tyrone) , Kid from McCort and Geis from B-A.
lb- HAVEN'T seen enough
DB dittoe
WR- Gildea(Holl) 1st team, HM- Desch(Tyrone) -barnum and Bailey had nothing on his concentration on 1/2 of the catches he made, Ripple (rich) could play d-2 and excell if he chooses.
DE- tie Murray(Tyr) and C. Myers (CC) 1st team, HM-- both ends from B-A, Portages' left side DE plays tough!
ATH- Waslewski(CC) didn't get to play full season, but impact player when on field, and made a difference for his teamates.
heart-- (new category) -- Williamsburg, entire team...1st team
outgunned yearly, outcoached every year, show up and play with heart every night.

Trent Forshey is only a sophomore and has 148 tackles this season. Thats 11.4 tackles per game. He was also the leading tackler for Central last year as a freshman. Runk has 100 tackles even. Leberfinger is the other linebacker, overlooked, played real solid against CC, still a sophomore, has 75 tackles this season. I have taken notice of #77 Billy Meyers. He is only a jr about 6'1" 200 defensive end, 58 total tackles, 13 TFL..... Lots of young guns.
