Interesting opening night game.. Bedford @ NBC...

I don't know much about Bedford going into this season, but this could be a pretty entertaining basketball game to get things started...

Factors in the game will be how NBC handles Bedford's size...

Also, early in the season, I think home court advantage (crowd support) will play a factor in the outcome.

I would think NBC will try to run and get points in transition with Clapper and Snyder. Look for Reed and Hoover to have improved play.

Bedford should be able to compete as their returning kids have a good bit of varsity experience despite not much success in the win column the past few years. However, Coach Anderson will have his kids fired up to play to begin the season.

I agree with Coach, it should be a nice matchup.

I really think Bedford is the underdog in this game. Look at their record the last two years. NBC has a very good team returning that won the mansion park league, and their kids are well coached. It should be a very good game. Can NBC handle the quickness of Bedfords guards and their pressure? If they can then I would have to give NBC the nod in this one. If not then Bedford in a close one. I would say NBC's bigs are better than Bedford.

I don't know what the heck hunterx is thinking when he says that bedford was the underdog. The only reason Bedford has not a lot of wins the last 2 years is because they play in the laurel highlands not the sidling hill. And you guys said with out bedford post game they wouldn't win... but their post player played less than 10 minutes in the game and they still took it to NBC for most of the night PERIOD!!!
