I think to say that "ctindian00 doesn't know sports" might be alittle broad. I think he knows the game, but dwells to much on how much one player contributes. The common thread of many (all would just be way too sterotypical) from CT is to focus on player, not team talk. ctindian00's got his head buried in their scorebook way too much. Could be the fumes from the ink fogging his opinions.

Glad to hear that the new coach has changed the practice of showing respect to the other team. That's a life lesson that will go a long way for the boys.

Tip to beat CT. Run them up and down the floor and they'll be sucking air after a few minutes. The dance routine they do before the games just ain't the work out they need. Cha, Cha, Cha.

Couldn't agree more. That's how Shade beat Conemaugh Township...run and gun. And yes...they're pregame warm-up is unbearable to watch

I'm glad you guys are more worried about the pre-game warm-up than the actual game.
The coaching at CT this year has been terrible. The new coach doesn't play the teams strengths. All the guards do is dribble and dribble, and then stop and wait for someone to pass to. There is to much size on that team to be playing a perimeter game. The only way the big men on the inside get the ball is on a rebound.

Again..couldn't agree more

It was frustrating to see township go into the half trailing only 28-24 against Shade, and then come out and play perimiter offense and fast-break defense? It made no sense...Duray had 6 points at the half in that game and finished with 9 overall. He's 6'6"...bigger than anyone on shades team. Kyle Smiach, Michael Lysic, Matt Jones, and Matt Duray are ALL taller than the starters on Shade's team..and yet they were trying to get three or a quick mid-range jumper the entire second half.

The lack of proper-coaching has not gone unnoticed as you can hear at least 10 comments from spectators during the game about how it must be painful for former coach Scott Cable to watch his once-perfected offense turn into something to scratch your head at.

I think CT will have a good season, and thus coach Lesko will probably keep his job...but some people are already questioning the merit of his hiring. (long time assistant = automatic hiring as head coach without considering other candidates)

Sounds more or less like Richlands offense the last two years, not utilizing height and all.

CT New Coach has his handsful this season . Byer is exremely difficult to replace and nobody on the current roster can handle his jock strap and Risch was no slouch. When I watched trhem they are shaky to say the least and have a lot of work if they want to be a contender in the WestPAC or playoffs.

Byer was a good player, but he wasn't the whole team. The team won last year when he was out for an injury. The team this year has to play as a "team". They don't have the one superstar, but they have a group of kids that can all contribute. Instead of teams just keying in on one player, they have to contend with the whole team. It's why Shade has a good team. There are 4-5 kids kids that all play well.
