If Jtown were "disciplined", they would know to go to the line but dont cross it!

Don't get throw out for goodness sake! ...that is hilarious!

BTW, "Just like football" is a perfectly acceptable chant...

How are the kids supposed to know where the lines is in the student section. There are no set rules of what you can and can't say. The only way to know how far you can go is to go to far. If the parents don't like it they definitely should just be quiet and cheer for their team because if they don't like the other team being attacked and say something students love to start stuff with the adults. Student sections are the best part of high school or college sports. Deal with the noise and actions or don't go to the games

This is slightly off topic, but your response brought this question to mind and I'm interested in hearing what you think about a school racking up the points on an opposing team.

Should the basketball players play as hard and tough as they can and rack em up on a scoreboard, or should a coach reign his players in so as not to put alot of points on the board and cause 'hurt feelings'?

Good student sections create school spirt and good school morale. These people that are offended need to go back to AYSO soccer!

I believe in substitutions when the score allows, but never telling players to hold back.

When I think back to the Nasty Brothers from Northern Bedford and their ungodly scoring records, I have to believe that they were in games against the Southern Fultons and Fannett Metals where they led big and racked up some points against JV teams. AJ had 3833 career points, and I think Joe had a shade under 3000... That means they both averaged 30+ a game for 4 seasons, with AJ avearaging closer to 33-34ppg.

I have to believe that a fair amount of those points were scored against the waterboys of opposing teams.
