However, it is against the PIAA rules to transfer for athletic reasons. Can't get any simpler than that. This gives an unfair advantage for one school over others. When a school like McCort gets 20% of their starting line-up from out of nowhere, then how unfair is that? No matter HOW it helps the kid, it is unfair to ALL the schools McCort plays.

I know most D6 people think the westpac is a joke...but i just have to say that Conemaugh Valley has to be up there as one of the best D6 A teams (if they are A?) When Jimmy Lupek is on...like he was tonight...he CANNOT miss and he absolutely takes the spirit away from the opponent. CV is well coached and very disciplined and I wouldn't be surprised to see a D6 title game featuring them.

The top scorers at McCort are Jimmy Spisak & Jack Schrey and they didn't tranfer from anywhere. You act like McCort wouldn't have a team if it weren't for Dill.

Not sure what BM's record is right now, but I'm not impressed. Watched them last night and they are an average team at best. #21 and #2 are the leaders and scorers of the team. Best of Luck to them, but not sure what all the buzz is about.

You'll see what all the buzz is about when they hang the District 6-AA Championship medals around their necks.

They are well-coached and have good senior leadership. They play outstanding man to man defense and have big Bill Dill in the middle to clean up any messes. When they are knocking down the treys, they will be extremely difficult to beat.

Fornicate, why would he transfer because of you? and I do not believe it is appropriate. Why don't the private schools go after the public school kids when they are in 3rd-4th-5th grades? Answer is, they are not sure the kid will be a stud at that early age. Once the athlete matures and shows promise then it is time to convince parents that it would provide a better opportunity for the player to attend a private school. Remember my opinion take it for what it's worth.

I would like to see a where are they now report on the public school transfers. Bill Dill, who is probably a very nice kid, will get no further at McCort than he would of at Ferndale. Believe me the LHAC is not the PA hot bed of basketball stars.
