Pittsburgh Pirates

How can a town so steeped in sports tradition like Pittsburgh keep settling for such mediocrity in their baseball team when the Pens and Steelers do as well as they do? Yea, they have had success in the past which many on here can remember, but their are probably 2 generations of people now that know the Pirates only as the doorstep of MLB. Give all the Dallas fans all the crap you want, but at least the Cowboys Mavs and Stars ALL give the town something to cheer for.....
