Looks like some exciting action is before us... In AAA all the games should be competitive with only 5 teams entering and all are good teams... Would like to see Central and Johnstown in the finals though, that would be an entertaining game.... In AA Heights really lucked out with the easy half of the bracket and won't have to play a LH or Mt. League team until the finals... The other half has McCort, Penns Valley and the ever dangerous Central Cambria Red Devils. That is one team that no one is going to want to face because they are capable of beating anyone with Jordan Miller scoring 34 points per game... I wouldnt be surprised if CC shocked McCort in round 2. In A Bishop Guilfoyle has really turned it on of late and would play top seeded Bishop Carroll in round 2. Tough draw for the Huskies.... IMO the winner of that matchup wins it all because I dont really see any threats in the bracket besides maybe Homer-Center.... My favorite time of year, cant wait until we get this going!

I guess Forest Hills didn't let the team go. I don't get why they chose that. Central Cambria understands playoff basketball. Miller (CC) and Gallahar (FH) are both players that can take control of a game at any time, so why not give it a shot? FH beat Carrol tonight too.

You could say Heights got a lucky draw or you could say they earned that draw by winning 17 games.

On one hand, I like that the seedings are done by formula now, but on the other hand you end up with all those rematches in AA (Richland-CC, Blairsville-United, West Branch-Mount Union) that could have been avoided by shifting one spot.

Is Greene coming back for Carroll?

Anyone can win in AAA. Tyrone's beaten Central, Somerset's beaten Johnstown, that's an interesting bracket.

Some schools, FH being one, have the .500 rule. Thus, the Rangers did not qualify for, this year anyway, Class 3 A. Guess Don couldn't find anywhere to stash a few kids so he'd just be under the limit. I just wanted to beat vman to this statement.

Wish they would show official rankings all year long. The unofficial rankings are not even close to the way the seadings went.
