Anyone catch Wheeling Jesuit @ UPJ 2day? How did Steve Catich do?

Tullis, UPJ cruise past Wheeling Jesuit

Marcus Tullis poured in 22 of his game-high 25 points in the first half to help Pitt-Johnstown build a 30-point halftime lead en route to a 91-69 victory over Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday at the Sports Center.
The Mountain Cats (17-6, 12-4 West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) raced out to a 24-9 lead. Wheeling Jesuit (10-13, 8-8) cut the deficit to 27-18 with 8:33 remaining, but that was as close as the Cardinals got. UPJ led 57-27 at the half.
Matt Ionadi’s basket five minutes into the second half put UPJ up by 34. Wheeling Jesuit battled back to cut the lead to 80-68 on Obi Ukwuoma layup with 3:48 to play, before UPJ cruised to the 22-point win.
Tullis also matched Patrick Grubbs for a team-high 11 rebounds. Ionadi scored 17 points on 8-for-12 shooting, while Quinton Davis and Grubbs chipped in 14 points apiece. Andy Byer had seven points off of the bench, and William Sharpe had 10 assists.
UPJ shot 53.6 percent (37-69) while holding the Cardinals to just 32.9 percent (25-76).
Steve Catich led Wheeling Jesuit with 17 points and nine rebounds. Maqsood Harrington added 10 points, and Ukwuoma grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
UPJ hosts a WVIAC doubleheader with the Lady Cats against Ohio Valley on Thursday. The Lady Cats will tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 7:30.
