DuJuan Blair...WHAT WAS THAT???
WHAT WAS THAT???
DuJuan Blair is a test tube created man-child alien. The game he played tonight was utterly RIDICULOUS, except for the 2 turn around airballs he shot trying to impress the NBA scouts in attendance.
22 and 23 against the #1 team in the country...
I say: Bring on Hansborough...DB needs a new punk...

I missed the game until the clear end when Fields was making his 3's. It sounds like it was a good game. Pitt is putting itself in a very good position. They are playing as good as I have ever seen a Pitt team. If they play UNC at some point in the tournament, it should be a good one. I think Blair is better than Hansbrough, but UNC's overall team is slightly better than Pitt's team. It would be a great game and UNC would have to hit their 3's to beat Pitt.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
Re: DuJuan Blair...WHAT WAS THAT???
Thabeet stands still. Hansbrough is the most active big-man in all of college basketball. He's in and out. I doubt Blair would even be responsible for guarding him. Nobody has been able, in 4 years, to slow down Hansbrough.
Blair did have a huge game last night. It was a game I was actually pulling for Pitt in. For I can't stand Jim Calhoun. But Thabeet has been overrated all year. If you're that tall, you should beat up on the DePaul's of the world.

Re: DuJuan Blair...WHAT WAS THAT???
The only way to slow Hansbrough down is to have the officials on your side. If they let you play physical against him, you can take him out of the game for the most part since shooting jump shots aren't really his game. If the officials are calling touch fouls, Hansbrough will dominate everyone. If they let them play underneath, he can be held under 10-15 points. He's actually had two 8 point games and one 15 point game in the last 6. Miami's defense shut him down, but they couldn't stop Lawson from the outside. Lawson's game has improved greatly from last year to this year. His improvement is why I think UNC wins it all.

Pitt is now one step closer to a number 1 seed and 1st round exit at the hands of the Manhattan Jaspers.

Blair's a freak....sure a UNC matchup would be good cause Pitt and NC are the best teams in the country...But Blake Griffin and DeJuan Blair would be a battle for the ages!
Pitt beat UConn by 7-8 and to think at 1 point the Pitt guards were 1-22 shooting....Think if Dixon Wannamaker and Gibbs made some shots along the way...Could have been much worse for the most obnoxious fans in the country...Yes nitters there are people worse then you guys and Notre Dame...Don't believe go to the Garden for the Big East Tourney!
Pitt could have beaten the number 1 team on the country by 18-20...Thats an impressive win with only 2 players carrying them the whole way and winning by 8.
