"As for the coaching criticism on here....hindsight is always 20/20."

Sure, but when you are watching a disaster happening, and you do nothing to stop it - that's just bad coaching.

Kaminsky's ball handling skills and command of the game was an extremely important asset for Shade. I'm sure the Shade fans will descend upon Chestnut Ridge in full force for their meeting with NB Thursday night.

Gotta ask--ctindian are you a fan of CT's baseball team too?
I like baseball...never really watched CT's baseball team though, just wasnt my thing...high school baseball that is.

I'm a little surprised about the fannet result but it's the playoffs!Let's give NBC some props as they are a quality team who has had some very good wins against some tough teams!I personally think the sideling hill was the better conference as a whole.Shade should win it all but nobody on here seems to give nbc enough credit.I have seen them play and I feel they play unselfish and pass well. This is the type of team who can beat anyone.I'll give shade the edge in this one but wouldn't even blink if nbc wins!Tussey even though they are down there big man has to be the favorite in the other game.Alot of these kids have been in the playoff atmosphere which is a big edge, not to mention the experience that bailey brings.I like tussey vs shade in the championship. It's just a shame tussey lost a key cog, cause it would be alot better game with both teams at full strength.

I honestly don't know anything about nbc to either give them credit or take away thing away from their team. We've got 2 teams scheduled to battle it out and I suspect it'll be a good one.

sooooooo indian, do that mean we'll have to go an entire sport season without anything from ya? Or will you take in a baseball game or two so we can get some unfettered access to your perspective of the indians on the diamond?

Semi-Finals

(4) NBC vs (1)Shade
(6) Rockwood vs (2) Tussey Mountain

I will take Tussey vs Shade at UPJ for the District. Shade better watch out though having not played their "A" game in either the WestPac Championship or last night against SF. I did pick Rockwood to beat FM in the 1st round but I will not go with them again. I think Tussey even without their "horse Cog will get it done with Zimmerman and Bailey being to much for the Rockets. I will say that personally I am routing for the ALL Somerset County Final. Nothing against the ICC just Somerset County bias showing.

I am pleasantly surprised that Rockwood won over FM. The small homecourt gym (think Ferndale and shake your head) persuaded me to believe FM would overtake Rockwood. I've said in an earlier post that Rockwood's playing style got on my nerves....not a bad thing for Rockwood, but it drives the opposing fans nuts. (well maybe 'fan' not fans', I shouldn't speak for anyone but me).

Good Luck to both Somerset County teams as they battle their SHL counterparts.

CTIndian00 --- Ct would be undefeated if it weren't for the Coach and those dog gone officials !! Did you ride the officials when you coached?

Yes, I did...never got a technical though becuase i was respectful about it. And no, CT would NOT have been undefeated. They would have won a few more games with better coaching, but Lesko will come into his own (it's his first year) and the refs only POSSIBLY determined the outcome of 1 game...so...you can throw that comment out the window because I only ever stated once that the refs blew it.

Chuck Lesko was the reason a bunch of players(including the starting lineup) quit basketball, not to mention they were from a team that was almost undefeated, in my opinion he's an awful coach and township basketball deserves a much better coach then him.
