Sasa Borovnjak

Post by El-Moldo »

In the spirit of multi-culturalism, PSU head basketball coach Ed DeChellis has received a verbal committment from Sasa Borovnjak (not to be confused with Sasha Dabinsky, the famed one-armed violinist), a native of Serbia. The 6'8", 225 lb senior from Veritas Christian High School in Fletcher, North Carolina, surely will bring back memories of other famous PSU players from other countries, like Yawn Jagla, Joonas Suatomo, and John "Yippee-Yi-Yo" Amaechi. At his press conference last week in Fletcher, Sasa answered several questions about his decision to enroll at Penn State.
A reporter asked him about the pressure of playing in a conference like the Big Ten. Sasa, who came to America from Serbia in 2007, answered him with, "In old country, I used to pressure in life. One time I have a brother who have attack of epilepsy while in the bath. He thrash around the tub in lots of water". When the reporter asked him what he did next, Sasa replied, "I throw in basket of londery".

Also at press conference, reporter asked Sasa about his family. "I got 4 brothers and one sister who is still virgin", he answered. Reporter ask why sister is still virgin. Sasa say, "Because she run faster than us brothers".

I think this kid's only other offer was to IUP Punxsatawney. Let me ask you this, when you have all those colleges in the Carolinas and none offer you, what does that tell you? They are talking about this kid in the Lion's Den as though he's about to prove PSU basketball is better than UCONN or Oklahoma.

Sasa tell everyone that he have great future playing in happiest valley in world. He think people there are friendly, not like in Europe. In Europe, the only time people wink and smile at a Serb, is when they look at one through the scope of a rifle.

Speaking of sexualness, Sasa's sister has a girl friend who come home one day with pregnancy. When her father find out, he ask her, "Are you sure it's yours?"
