i don't think 171 was weak at all and the preditions most were all wrong did catalina even place

Catalina got either 3rd or 4th. 171 wasn't really weak, but it wasn't strong by any means. 160 was maybe the weakest weight I've ever seen in the SW region.

Yes, 160 was very, very weak. Julian has 70 losses in his career and made the finals.
Speaking of. How about some of these records. Alexander of SSA had 95 wins going into the finals and is a soph. 100 wins isn't even a big deal anymore. One kid had 100 wins and 70 losses. In my opinion that is barely average.
