Locations for playoff games...

Post by Coach »

Let's post them as soon as we find them.

My predictionfor some locals of interest...

Tuesday night Tussey vs. Kennedy Catholic at IUP as part of a boys double header with NBC and Sewickley.

Geographically it makes sense and would allow D5 fans to see two games.

It also allows for scouting since the winners will meet in the next round. I hope the PIAA doesn't drop the ball on this one.

Both schools are around 75 miles from IUP (Sew and NB)

For TM it is about 70 miles and 95 for Kennedy.

Do you think the PIAA would dare put TM and NBC fans in the same gym? That would create an interesting atmosphere wouldn't it COACH?

Why wouldn't they put them in the same gym? The rivalry isn't that bad...

I think there is no way they do Clarion. In this round things are supposed to be more equal. TM would have 140 miles to Clarion while 65. In round 1, yes.... round 2, I don't see it.

What's your location prediction for the Shade/Serra Cath game?

I like this game...lol.

For Shade, I'll predict Greensburg as the site. It is an hour for the Shade fans to travel and about a half hour for the Serra fans. If Greensburg is not available, I''ll say Somerset, Mt. Pleasant, or Ligonier if there is a place to play there. Lots of choices I know...but Serra is in McKeesport so the travel shouldn't be too bad.

I'm going to say Shade's boys team may play at Southmoreland H.S. Gym...

They've had quite a few games in CLASS (A) through the years which Berlin, & a few others have played there.....

What are the odds of a triple header with NBC, TM and Shade all in one house at IUP?
