Four county players picked for Mirror Classic...

LORETTO — The fourth annual Altoona Mirror Basketball Classic will take place on Friday at St. Francis University.
The girls-boys doubleheader, set for 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., will match the top seniors from Blair County against Central Pa. teams made up of the top players from Cambria, Centre, Indiana, Bedford, Huntingdon, Somerset and Clearfield counties.
Four players from Somerset County were selected to play in the prestigious game.
Shade’s Joel Kaminsky, Somerset’s Anthony Papini and North Star’s Luke Zellem were named to the Central Pa. boys squad while Berlin’s Jackie Kimmel will represent the county on the Central Pa. girls team.
The Classic is an extension of the Big John Riley games, played from 1983-2005 and matching the best players from Blair and Cambria County.
