Uh, it's called your tallest guy is underneath the basket so the player has to shoot over him. Don't act like you know more than you really do. How often do you see a referee in the NCAA or NBA take over the game by calling a foul on the last play? How many games do you watch a year? It rarely ever happens and I have seen numerous times where they could have called a foul and don't. Pitt sucked in the big game like always. Get over it, man.

Deliverance, he's forgotten more about sports than you will ever know in your life. Sports, and everything else for that matter.

Moldo, I agree with your assessment on Blair, but what about the other Pitters? How can you possibly let that kid shoot from that close to the basket?

The guy WITH the ball has all the advantages in that situation. He can dish it off, take the shot, drive inside. HE knows what he's going to do. The others have to guess. Split second decisions often favor the ball handler. Of course HE has to deliver. He made the right decision and it won the game. It wasn't like Pitt had a timeout to set up a defense. 'nuf said.

If we are doing an actual poll of the best b-ball programs in the state, it would have to look like this:

1. Villanova
2. Pitt
3. Temple
4. St. Joseph's
5. Penn State
