Agree, completely. But it is like Frank Beamer has said too: You can't be with the kids 24 hrs a day. It comes down to personal responsibility, not Joe or Tom Bradley's.

This incident was obviously a lapse in judgment on the part of the players. I'm just glad they weren't the ones doing it. That's a start, right?

I know it seems like I am skirting this, but I still think this is a police problem. I firmly believe that in situations like the recent Bowman garbage that the justice department in Centre County took the side of PSU football and slapped him on the wrist. Look, Joe Paterno's depth chart justice is completely irregardless here. It should NEVER even GET to a point where the only "justice" is done THROUGH THE FOOTBALL PROGRAM. Bowman should NOT be suspended by Paterno... he should be suspended by Centre County, way before it ever becomes a football issue. These problems in State College are above the heads of the coaching staff. Do I think that the SC and Centre County police are PSU football fans? Absolutely.

Holy denial/minimization Joepa youth! When your reaction to a rape situation is "Geeez, no one got hurt" & your response to the 27th pot busts in 2 months is "I think everyone is over reacting"; I can'thelp but think of the photo one of my on crac....errrr, crack staff members (while disguised as a bean bag) shot in a University Park apt.:

Penn State's football program is truley ridiculous.
But as TAE would say, they have such a big media market and such miraculous academics so its ok.

A kid violates his probation, which was given to him by the actual law enforcement, and you guys get pissed at JOE PATERNO for him not getting into trouble for it. You Pitt fans are so preoccupied with your Paterno hatred that you don't even see the real issue.

Every Penn State player scored higher than McCoy on the Wonderlic, and what did Marino score again? Talk about brains!

Did it matter what Marino scored? Look at his stats from his college and NFL career. I am sure that wonderlic score haunted him his whole life. Good thing the wonderlic doesn't predict how good of a NFL player a kid might be.

I don't know if you're drunk or unintelligent. You know you spelled "stocker" wrong on your signature though right, dummy? KirkHerbstreit

Yeah, stats are everything. Ask Graham Harrell and Timmy Chang where it got them. Chang is a FA in Canada right now and Harrell can't even get on a practice squad.

Too bad Wally Richardson won as many big NFL games as Dan Marino ever did.

Hey, Dan Marino had a great arm. But don't act like a college degree, even in something like forest management, isn't important. Go look at the applications for corporations nowadays: They do not care what your degree is in as long as you have a college education, no matter where it is from.
