Who would be coaching the Claysburg legion team?

If they do indeed get the Central kids to go with the pitchers from Tussey, look for them to make lots of noise in the league.

Dave Aungst from Claysburg is the manager of that team. It appears that they have 6 from Claysburg 6 from Tussey Mt. 4 from central and 2 from williamsburg on there roster. I also agree that things seem skewed vs. some of the teams that can only draw from one school. Then you have schools like altoona who draws from Juniata valley and others and Hollidaysburg who draws from Huntingdon and the various examples in the cambria league.

Was McMurtrie on the AAABA team that folded in Johnstown?
Where's Matt Aungst playing/pitching this year?
I'm surprised Drew Ebersole isn't playing for Johnston Realty in Altoona.

McMurtrie played for Bulldogs last year and Aungst is playing down in Johnstown this year and yes i too think Ebersole could have helped Johnston realty. Dont think McMurtrie wants to travel as much this summer, got to be too much last year.

Any truth to McMurtrie being ineligible for the district playoffs?

Talk to a Legion manager last night and he said, as advertised, Claysburg is loaded.

Nice win for Portage Sunday over Claysburg. I'm assuming Claysburg doesn't have their Tussey kids yet as they're still in D-5 playoffs. Also noticed that Ebersole is double rostering with a Federation team in Altoona and Swope is on Bulldogs roster in Johnstown so maybe Claysburg won't be quite the juggernaut it appeared (but obviously still a good team).

Nanty Glo shuts out Conemaugh?
Patton beats Somerset on a walk-off homer?
Looks like anything can happen this year.
