PSU and Pitt battling over Dieffenbach?
Re: PSU and Pitt battling over Dieffenbach?
Why recruit kids that you know there's not a good chance of getting in the first place. Why waste the energy? Again, this all started with the "cherry picking" comment. All I was trying to prove was that PSU is NOT cherry picking Wanny's wall. Who cares about the rest of this stuff? NO cherry picking by Penn State, right?

Hey, you can go to Scout and do all this research yourself for free. They even have chronological lists for commitments. Like I have shown, which, again, if you disagree with go do it yourself and see, PSU is 2nd only behind PITTSBURGH for PITTSBURGH kids. They have twice as many as the next team, Ohio State.
Again:
If they are not getting who they want, why has Pitt not beaten them head to head in a recruiting scuffle since January 29th, 2006 when Elijah Fields picked Pitt?
And the reason why "all the rest of this matters" is because PSU has gotten other 4-star players in place of these superhuman WPIAL kids, who, coincidentally enough, have done nothing at all at Pitt. Who the hell is Miles Carragein? Isn't that the name of a seaweed? The only kid I listed in that last post who was NOT a 4 or 5-star Penn State commit, in place of thes Pitt kids, was Kevion Latham. Latham is listed because he is going to probably be a starter this year. Again: who the hell are these Pitt kids?????
I honestly do like Scout's rankings better than Rivals, but there is a 5-star Pitt commit who had TWO offers. And a 4-star commit with ONE.
For 2010, PSU already has the two best recruits in the WPIAL, and from those Dieffenbach quotes, it looks like he will be the legacy that "got away", just like Zwinak looks to be with Virginia Tech (and end up at PSU as well, hopefully).
Agaian: Pitt has not beaten Penn State for a top-rated WPIAL recruit since January 29th, 2006. Pitt is doing awesome, keep up the great work.
